Job Description

Overview Join our compassionate team as a Caregiver and make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals requiring support with daily activities and personal care. This vital role involves providing attentive, respectful, and personalized care to promote independence, safety, and well-being. Whether working in a home setting, assisted living facility, or group home, you will be the trusted companion and caregiver that enhances quality of life through dedicated service and genuine empathy. Duties Assist residents or clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor patient health by observing vital signs, reporting changes, and maintaining accurate care records in compliance with HIPAA regulations Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding as necessary Support medication administration following prescribed care plans and safety protocols Operate equipment such as Hoyer lifts or other assistive devices to ensure safe patient transfers and mobility Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks like cleaning, laundry, and organizing personal spaces Provide emotional support and companionship to residents or clients, fostering a positive and respectful atmosphere Qualifications Prior experience in home health, assisted living, nursing home, or group home settings is highly preferred Knowledge of patient observation techniques, dementia care (including Alzheimer's and memory care), autism support, hospice care, and working with individuals with developmental disabilities or disabilities Certifications such as CPR, First Aid, HIPAA compliance training are advantageous Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physically demanding tasks when necessary Strong communication skills for effective interaction with residents, families, and healthcare teams Experience with medication administration, vital signs monitoring, care planning, and patient monitoring is desirable Compassionate attitude with a commitment to providing respectful and personalized care in a variety of settings Join us to empower individuals through dedicated caregiving!
