Must Be At Least 21 Years Old! High School Diploma or GED required. Must Have a Valid Driver's License. Must be Authorized to work in the US.Benefits:

Life Skills Mentors foster positive relationships with students to model and create a safe, welcoming environment. Supervise clients to ensure that basic needs are met, and that the environment is emotionally and physically safe.Position Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide emotional support to students and reinforce their treatment goals.
- Assist students in developing daily living skills such as personal hygiene, healthy eating habits, sleep hygiene, and medication management.
- Transport students about the community, keeping track of their whereabouts and ensuring their safety. Possibly up to 4 hours of driving depending on the shift.
- Facilitating various groups such as Outdoor Activities, Creative Expression/Art, 12 Step, etc.
- Taking students out on adventure outings and activities including hikes, movies, sporting events, concerts, museums, etc.
- Supporting students in maintaining a clean living environment and healthy relationships with roommates and peers.
- Role modeling healthy behavior, presenting a warm yet professional manner while maintaining impeccable boundaries.
- Supports student growth by maintaining boundaries, reinforcing program guidelines and expectations, and enforcing client treatment plans. Communicating with students' clinical team as appropriate.
- Provides crisis intervention as required to resolve conflicts and contain inappropriate and/or unsafe behavior, according to company policy.
Work Environment:
