Assist with daily routines such as feeding, diapering, bathing, and dressing to promote comfort and hygiene. Engage children in educational activities, playtime, and developmental exercises that support childhood development and early learning. Implement behavior management strategies to encourage positive behavior and social skills. Support individuals with disabilities by assisting with mobility, personal care, and daily tasks while fostering independence. Maintain a safe environment by adhering to safety protocols, conducting routine checks, and responding promptly to emergencies using first aid skills when necessary. Collaborate with parents, guardians, or team members to ensure consistent care tailored to each individual's needs. Requirements Prior experience working with children in settings such as daycare, preschool, babysitting, or nannying is highly preferred. Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices. Certification or training in first aid and CPR is required; additional certifications related to caregiving or behavior management are a plus. Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is advantageous. Ability to handle multiple responsibilities with patience, enthusiasm, and professionalism. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with families and team members. Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules or care requirements as needed.
