Full Job Description Pay:

$23.00 per hour Job description: Personal Assistant/Caregiver Personal assistant/caregiver for female college grad, wheelchair user, in Berkeley, CA. Want to make a difference to enable a physically differently- abled female to live independently?? Are you friendly, active, creative, enjoy cooking?? Fun, active , independent female n eeds assistance with transfers, driving adapted van, personal fem care, food prep, adaptive sports, biking, outings, etc. Join a small team of female caregivers. Work for an agency. Need to be authorized to work any job in the US. Salary from $23/hr. Paid training included. Some IHSS hours involved. Full time 30-40+ hrs position. Schedule flexibility is required. Must have availability days, evenings, overnights, and weekends. Comfortable futon available for the overnight shift. Key Responsibilities Provide personalized care and support to a female with physical disability in their home. Assist with activities of daily living, including transfers, dressing, meal preparation, client's adaptive bike, and driving client's wheelchair van. Physically able to assist with transfers, exercise bike, walker etc. Need to be physically fit and flexible with no lifting restrictions and able to lift in narrow spaces. Shifts (Required) Days, Evenings, Overnights, including weekends Qualifications Experience in caregiving preferred but not required Successful completion of a Live Scan fingerprint background check is required MUST have a current driver's license, an excellent DMV record, and must have a car Must be authorized to work any job in the US. Hiring preference if you live close by. Transportation Requirements Valid California Driver's License. Car needed Education and Experience High school diploma or equivalent required. Experience working with adults with disabilities or special needs preferred. but not required.
