Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregiver to provide essential support and care to individuals in their private residences. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in home care , senior care, or assisted living environments, with a genuine commitment to enhancing the quality of life for clients. As an In Home Caregiver, you will deliver personalized assistance with daily activities, monitor health conditions, and ensure a safe and comfortable living environment while adhering to all relevant health and safety standards. Duties Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support. Monitor and document vital signs, patient observations, and changes in health status to inform care plans. Support clients with meal preparation, ensuring nutritional needs are met while considering dietary restrictions. Utilize patient transfer methods such as Hoyer lifts or manual handling techniques to ensure safe mobility assistance. Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being and reduce feelings of isolation. Maintain a clean and safe environment through regular cleaning and organization of the living space. Communicate effectively with clients, family members, and healthcare professionals to coordinate care efforts. Requirements Prior experience working with seniors. Demonstrated knowledge of patient observation, dementia care, Alzheimer's care, memory care, and neurodevelopmental disorders is preferred. HIPAA compliance Ability to perform assistance with transfers or mobility needs. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with clients of diverse backgrounds. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for client visits are preferred.
