This is a rewarding opportunity to provide personalized support while promoting independence, dignity, and participation in daily activities.
Responsibilities:
Provide one-on-one support as part of a 2:1 care team. Assist with daily living activities, routines, and ADLs as needed. Support mobility and medication routines as needed. Assist with meal preparation and light household tasks. Support prescribed exercises and wellness routines. Assist with basic pet care and daily activities. Encourage independence while respecting the individual's choices and preferences. Maintain a calm, respectful, and supportive environment. Document services provided and report concerns in accordance with agency policy.
Qualifications:
Compassionate, patient, and dependable. Respectful of personal space, independence, and individual preferences. Strong communication and listening skills. Able to work effectively as part of a 2:1 care team. Able to follow directions and established care protocols. Calm and understanding when the individual needs space. Experience in caregiving or supporting individuals with daily living skills is preferred but not required.
