What You'll Do:
Assist clients with daily activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility. Provide companionship and emotional support, fostering a positive environment for clients. Prepare and serve meals, ensuring dietary needs are met. Administer medications as instructed and assist with basic health monitoring. Maintain a clean and safe environment through light housekeeping tasks. Escort clients to appointments, social activities, and errands as needed. Observe and report changes in clients' physical or emotional condition to the care team. Maintain accurate documentation of services provided and communicate effectively with team members. Assist with administrative tasks when caregiver work is light, including scheduling and data entry. Participate in training and professional development sessions as needed. Are You the Right Fit? High school diploma or equivalent; Required HCA certified in California. Required TB Test up to date. Required experience in caregiving role or CNA certified. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to establish rapport with clients and families. Compassionate and patient demeanor, with a desire to help others. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Proficiency in using mobile devices and basic technology for communication. Reliable transportation with valid driver's license/ insurance and willingness to travel in the El Dorado Hills, Placerville area. Preferred Additional Experience Would be great to have additional experience or certification in providing care for Chronic Conditions or Specialized Care like:
Dementia Care ALS Arthritis Cancer Care Compromised Immune System COPD Developmental Disabilities Diabetes Heart Disease Lung Disease Multiple Sclerosis Parkinson's Disease Stroke Postpartum Care Pay:
$18.00 - $22.00 per hour
