In this vital role, you will provide personalized assistance, ensure safety, and promote independence for residents across various care settings. Duties Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor patients' health by taking vital signs, observing changes, and reporting findings to healthcare professionals Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with meal consumption when necessary Support residents with memory care needs such as Alzheimer's or dementia by implementing specialized techniques and ensuring a safe environment Utilize equipment like Hoyer lifts or resident's to safely transfer individuals with mobility challenges Maintain cleanliness of living spaces through regular cleaning routines and ensure a hygienic environment in compliance with health standards Document observations, care provided, and updates in patient records accurately to support ongoing care plans Engage in patient monitoring to identify changes in condition or behavior that may require intervention or escalation Collaborate with team members to develop and implement personalized care plans for each resident or client Job Qualifications
  • Valid CPR / First-Aid Certification
  • Current TB Test
  • Live Scan - Fingerprint Clearance
  • Must have 5 hours training or more on Basic Health and Safety Training, Emergency Procedures, Liabilities of Caregiving
  • Highly professional with a friendly and cheerful personality
  • Excellent human relations, reliable and responsible
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Registered to perform home care services in the State of California (Registered Home Care Aide) Work Experience
  • Preferably one year experience in a home, facility or assisted living.
