Full- Time 11pm-7am; 3:00pm-11:00pm and 7:00am-3:00pm shifts available immediately. On call/ Per Diem needed immediately.
Job Specific Duties:
  • Assists with activities of daily living, following facility protocols, licensing regulations and guidelines for both the resident and employee safety.
  • Follows safety guidelines in the facility, including proper lifting techniques and universal precautions when providing care to residents to ensure employee and resident safety.
  • Routinely observes resident's activity, food intake, functional status, hydration, psychological status and reports any changes promptly and takes appropriate action as required to promote well-being of the resident.
  • Promptly reports any resident changes or concerns, e.g. injuries or falls, to the Administrator.
  • Effectively and respectfully assists with activities of daily living such as feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming, oral hygiene, incontinent care, or toileting/diapering of residents as needed.
  • Timely answers resident calls and/or requests of assigned and unassigned residents.
  • Immediately responds to a resident crisis ensuring that policies and procedures as well as Basic First Aid procedures are followed.
  • Gives high priority to resident satisfaction and anticipates resident needs.
  • Documents resident status changes including but not limited to physical changes, behavior changes, physiological changes, etc.
  • Safely lifts, repositions, and transports residents, using proper body mechanics or lifting devices, as necessary.
  • Responds to resident complaints immediately and promptly.
  • Exhibits behavior that is courteous, compassionate, polite, friendly, and respectful towards residents, visitors, fellow employees, subordinates, supervisors, and all members in the healthcare team.
  • Effectively performs additional duties and responsibilities as position requires.
