As a Home Care Aide, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by assisting them with daily activities and ensuring their comfort and safety. This position requires a strong commitment to patient care, respect for resident rights, and the ability to work collaboratively with families and healthcare professionals. Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation. Monitor patient health and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals. Implement care plans tailored to each client's needs, ensuring adherence to established protocols. Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the client's living space to promote a safe and healthy environment. Uphold resident rights by respecting privacy, dignity, and individuality at all times. Collaborate with other caregivers and healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care for clients. Document care provided and any significant changes in the client's condition as required. Qualifications Previous experience in social work, assisted living, or direct support roles is preferred but not mandatory. Knowledge of patient monitoring techniques and familiarity with care plans is advantageous. Strong understanding of senior care practices and resident rights. Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and their families. Compassionate attitude towards providing care for individuals in need. Ability to perform cleaning tasks as part of maintaining a safe living environment for clients. Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours based on client needs.
