Job Description

Overview Join our dedicated caregiving team as a Caregiver in Kerman, working from 6:00am to 2:00pm. This vital role offers an exciting opportunity to provide compassionate, personalized care to residents in assisted living, nursing homes, or home and community care settings. You will play a key part in enhancing the quality of life for individuals with diverse needs, including seniors, those with developmental disabilities, or residents requiring memory and dementia care. Your energy and commitment will help create a warm, safe, and supportive environment where residents feel valued and cared for every day. Duties Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment like Hoyer lifts when necessary Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature to ensure residents' health stability Administer medications accurately following prescribed schedules and protocols in accordance with healthcare regulations Support residents with Alzheimer's disease, dementia, or memory impairments through specialized memory care techniques and behavior management strategies Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs while maintaining cleanliness and safety standards in the kitchen area Engage residents in social activities and provide companionship to promote mental stimulation and emotional well-being Maintain detailed documentation using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems for accurate tracking of care provided and resident progress Requirements Prior experience in senior care, assisted living, nursing homes, or home & community care is highly preferred Knowledge of first aid procedures and CPR certification is a plus Experience working with individuals with disabilities or developmental challenges is beneficial Familiarity with medication administration, vital signs monitoring, and dementia or Alzheimer's care techniques Ability to lift or transfer residents safely using assistive devices such as Hoyer lifts Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and family members Valid driver's license for driving responsibilities related to resident outings or appointments is advantageous Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to improve residents' quality of life through attentive caregiving Join us in making a meaningful difference!
