In-Home Care Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate private caregiver to provide in-home care for a 75-year-old female patient with advanced dementia. The patient is bedbound, fully incontinent, and requires hands-on assistance with all activities of daily living. This role requires patience, attentiveness, and a strong understanding of dementia care. The caregiver will be responsible for providing personal care, ensuring comfort and safety, assisting with feeding, and offering general supervision throughout the shift. Very light housekeeping related to the patient's care is also expected.

Responsibilities:

Provide full personal care for a bedbound dementia patient Perform incontinence care and regular bed changes Assist with feeding and ensure adequate nutrition and hydration Monitor patient's comfort, safety, and well-being Provide companionship and calm supervision Light housekeeping related to patient care (laundry, tidying patient area) Maintain a respectful, patient, and professional demeanor at all times

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Previous experience in dementia care (professional or private) Experience with bedbound and fully incontinent patients Knowledge of proper hygiene, repositioning, and basic caregiving techniques ( can teach if not fully familiar) Ability to assist with feeding Strong patience, compassion, and reliability Ability to follow care instructions and routines Dependable transportation and punctuality

Preferred Qualifications:

CNA, HHA, or caregiving certification (preferred but not required) Prior private caregiving or home health experience

Physical Requirements:

Ability to assist with repositioning and bed care Ability to stand, bend, and perform light physical tasks as needed Ability to lift up to 50lbs

Compensation:

Competitive pay based on experience
