We are seeking compassionate, reliable, and skilled caregivers to support clients with a wide range of care needs. Our clients may require assistance with ADLs, including bathing, grooming, meal preparation, mobility support, and incontinence care. Our clients experience conditions such as dementia, Parkinson's disease, diabetes, or are receiving hospice care. www.cahelpinghands.com Duties Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote independence and comfort Moderate transfers, including gait belt or Hoyer lift assistance Ambulatory and non-ambulatory clients Bedbound clients requiring full bedside care Fall-risk clients who need close supervision Medication reminders Light household support Pets in the home Prepare cook nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed, adhering to dietary restrictions and preferences Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment that encourages safety and well-being Document care provided accurately in logs or reports, ensuring clear communication with team members and family members Qualifications Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to care for others and improve their quality of life Have a valid Home Care Aide (HCA) ID (Required) Must pass a background check and TB test (Required) Annual Educational Training (Required) Driving license and reliable transportation (Required) Ability to handle physical tasks such as lifting or transferring patients safely. Demonstrated experience providing care to clients with dementia and Alzheimer's disease; Memory Care experience strongly preferred. Previous experience in caregiving or related health support roles is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and healthcare professionals Physical ability to assist with mobility tasks such as lifting or repositioning clients safely Flexibility to work various shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed Certification in CPR/First Aid is a plus; willingness to obtain relevant certifications if not already held
Pay:
$20.00 - $25.00 per hour
