Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Live-In Caregiver to provide exceptional in-home care for individuals requiring assistance with daily activities and health management. This role offers an enriching opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors and individuals with disabilities by delivering personalized, respectful, and attentive care. As a Live-In Caregiver, you will be responsible for creating a safe, comfortable, and supportive environment that promotes independence and well-being. Duties Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support Monitor vital signs and observe health status to report any changes promptly to healthcare professionals Administer medications accurately following prescribed schedules and protocols Provide specialized care for residents with Alzheimer's disease, dementia, or other cognitive disabilities, implementing behavior management strategies as needed Support residents with meal preparation, ensuring nutritional needs are met while respecting dietary restrictions Maintain a clean and safe living environment through regular cleaning and organization of the residence Engage residents in social activities and companionship to promote mental stimulation and emotional well-being Experience Prior assisted living or long-term care experience is highly preferred, especially within residential care homes or retirement communities Demonstrated experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or cognitive impairments such as dementia or Alzheimer's disease Certification in CPR and First Aid is required to ensure immediate response capability in emergencies Familiarity with medication administration protocols and client communication skills to effectively coordinate care plans Join us in providing compassionate, professional care that enhances the quality of life for those we serve.
