In this vital role, you will provide personalized, hands-on care to individuals with diverse medical needs, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. Responsibilities Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, mobility, and nutrition to promote independence and comfort Monitor patient conditions closely, reporting any changes or concerns promptly to nursing staff or medical professionals Maintain accurate medical documentation, including notes on patient progress and vital signs using Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems Support critical care procedures such as blood sampling, basic life support (BLS), and CPR when necessary to ensure patient safety Communicate effectively with patients and their families to provide health education and address questions or concerns Handle manual tasks safely, including lifting and transferring patients in accordance with proper procedures to prevent injury Collaborate with healthcare teams in clinics or acute care settings, including specialties like plastic surgery, surgery, diagnostic radiology, or other medical disciplines Skills Critical care experience with a solid understanding of patient monitoring and emergency response procedures Knowledge of medical terminology and proficiency in medical documentation practices Experience with EMR/EHR management systems for accurate record keeping Strong client communication skills to build trust and provide clear health education Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely and efficiently in fast-paced environments Familiarity with healthcare procedures such as blood sampling, patient condition reporting, and diagnostic processes Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR is required; additional certifications in healthcare are a plus Join us to be part of a passionate team committed to delivering exceptional patient care!
