Job Description

Applicants must have a minimum of 3 years experience as a Caregiver, CNA/HHA, or a similar role. Halo Specialized Home Care is a licensed non-medial home care agency serving the Monterey Peninsula and surrounding areas. We specialize in providing the highest quality of care by the most respected and qualified caregivers in our industry.
OPEN SHIFTS
Tuesday, Thursday 9a
  • 7p; $26.50/hour plus OT, Pacific Grove Monday, Tuesday 7a
  • 7p; $25/hour plus OT, Carmel Monday through Friday 9a
  • 4p $25/hour; Monterey Must be available to work either Saturday or Sunday.
Plenty of shifts to pick up as well. Qualifications Minimum of 3 years' experience as a caregiver, CNA/HHA, or similar role, at least 1 of the 3 years must have been in a private home Ability to perform all activities of daily living including light housekeeping Have your own reliable vehicle to transport clients to doctor's appointments, run errands, and do general outings for enjoyment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to plan and prepare nutritious meals Ability to adhere to all health and safety guidelines Have compassion and empathy Knowledge of physical and coginitive activities that can be done in the home. Have a passion for helping people. Be able to clear a fingerprinted background check Responsibilities Provide cognitive and physical activities based on the client's needs Assistance with activities of daily living as needed (varies based on client) Prepare and serve healthy meals Provide companionship Monitor and document patient observations, ensuring any changes in condition are communicated promptly Maintain a clean and safe environment, adhering to hygiene standards. Provide compassionate care and assistance, focusing on client's physical and emotional well-being Incorporate physical and cognitive activities into the client's day Communicate effectively with healthcare professionals, patients, and their families Follow individualized care plans Collaborate with the team to ensure a high standard of care and support for all clients Drive client to appointments
