Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team in providing exceptional support and assistance to individuals in various care settings. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for residents by delivering personalized care with enthusiasm and professionalism. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those you serve, fostering independence, dignity, and comfort every day. Duties Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor patient health by observing vital signs, documenting changes, and reporting concerns promptly Support medication administration following proper protocols and HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary Maintain a clean and safe environment through regular cleaning, laundry, and sanitation tasks Use specialized equipment such as Hoyer lifts and resident's to ensure safe transfers and mobility assistance Engage residents in social activities and provide companionship to promote mental well-being Experience Prior experience working in assisted living, nursing homes, or home & community care settings is highly preferred Knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer's care, memory care, and hospice care best practices Familiarity with working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder (ASD) Certification in CPR and First Aid is required; additional certifications such as HIPAA training are advantageous Experience with patient observation, vital signs monitoring, medication administration, and care planning Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively while maintaining resident safety standards Strong communication skills developed through social work or direct support roles in long-term care environments Join us to be part of a dedicated team committed to providing compassionate, respectful, and comprehensive care.
