We are currently seeking a kind, patient Caregiver to focus on creating a positive experience for all residents and family members by providing outstanding care and customer service. About the
Caregiver Position:
We are looking for a kind, compassionate Caregiver to work with our team to provide excellent care and customer service for our residents. The ideal candidate is patient and reliable with the ability to collaborate and work effectively with a team of people. Prioritizing resident care and well-being is of utmost importance. This position is a fast-paced physical environment that requires efficient time management, excellent communication, and prioritizing resident and team members safety.
Some Caregiver Responsibilities Include:
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADL).
  • Respond to resident's needs promptly.
  • Encourage residents to participate in daily activities.
  • Communicate any suspected resident change of condition to supervisors.
  • Respond timely to resident pull chords and pendants.
  • Display tact and friendliness when dealing with residents, families and fellow associates.
  • Maintain all required certifications/licensures as required by state law.
  • Maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents and guests.
  • Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments.
  • Support a positive and professional image through actions and dress.
  • Per State of California regulations, as a "mandated reporter" you must report all known or suspected incidents of resident abuse of dependent adults or elders.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Some Qualifications Include:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Pre-employment screenings which may include Livescan Fingerprint clearance as required by government regulations, physical, drug screening and TB test.
  • 1 years in Assisted Living preferred.
  • Ability to work patiently with cognitively impaired individuals.
  • Ability to follow oral and written directions
