You will be responsible for assisting with daily activities, monitoring health and safety, and ensuring a comfortable, safe environment during weekend and evening hours. Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor residents' health status by observing and recording vital signs, behavior, and overall well-being Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with meal consumption when necessary Administer medication following care plans and ensure proper documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations Support clients with dementia, Alzheimer's, autism, or developmental disabilities through personalized care strategies and compassionate engagement Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and organizing personal spaces Use specialized equipment like Hoyer lifts or resident lifts to safely transfer individuals with mobility challenges Skills Proven experience in home & community care, assisted living, nursing home settings, or long-term care environments Knowledge of patient observation techniques and ability to recognize changes in condition or behavior Certification in CPR and First Aid is required; additional certifications such as HIPAA compliance are preferred Familiarity with medication administration, care plans, and vital signs monitoring Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and healthcare teams Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and operate supportive equipment like Hoyer lifts or resident lifts Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to improve the lives of individuals with disabilities or chronic conditions Join us as a Weekend and some nights caregiver to make a meaningful impact while working flexible hours that fit your lifestyle.
