Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Caregiver in Escondido to deliver exceptional support to our senior clients. The ideal candidate will possess a genuine passion for caregiving, with experience in assisting with daily activities, patient observation, and providing personalized care. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors while working within a supportive team that values your skills and commitment. Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support. Monitor patients' health status by observing vital signs, medication adherence, and overall well-being. Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and preferences. Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and organizing personal spaces. Support clients with mobility using equipment such as Hoyer lifts or other assistive devices when necessary. Document care activities accurately while respecting patient privacy and confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Provide emotional support and companionship to enhance clients' quality of life through engaging conversations and activities. Requirements Prior experience in home care, assisted living, nursing homes, or group homes is highly desirable. Have an active HCA Home Care Aide registration Negative TB test Familiarity with dementia, Alzheimer's care, memory care, autism spectrum disorders, and working with individuals with developmental disabilities or disabilities. Strong communication skills coupled with compassion, patience, and reliability. Ability to work flexible hours that accommodate client needs while maintaining a positive attitude towards caregiving roles.
