Job Description

Overview We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide exceptional support and assistance to individuals in a residential care facility. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for residents by delivering personalized care with professionalism and empathy. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those needing assistance with daily activities and health management. Responsibilities Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Provide patient monitoring and observe for any changes in health or behavior Support with meal preparation, feeding, and nutritional needs Utilize equipment such as Hoyer lifts and resident lifts safely to assist with mobility Maintain a clean and safe environment through cleaning and sanitation tasks Assist with vital signs measurement, medication administration, and record keeping Offer emotional support and companionship to residents, respecting their dignity and preferences Support residents with specialized needs such as dementia, Alzheimer's, or developmental disabilities Experience Candidates should have prior experience in caregiving roles such as home health, hospice care, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, or group homes. Experience working with individuals with dementia or special needs is highly valued. Certifications such as CPR and First Aid are preferred. Familiarity with HIPAA compliance, patient observation techniques, medication administration, and care planning is essential. Prior exposure to long-term care environments or working with seniors or individuals with memory care needs will be advantageous. Candidates should demonstrate patience, compassion, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle physically demanding tasks such as heavy lifting when necessary. A background in social work or nursing is beneficial for understanding comprehensive care approaches.
