Looking for caregivers to join our home care family: ComForCare is hiring individuals with the passion to provide one-on-one care to our clients in their homes. We have an immediate need ! Provided exceptional training on a regular and ongoing basis. Are never alone in the field - support is always available. Thoughtfully matched with clients that they are compatible with Responsibilities Assist clients with personal care tasks including bathing, grooming, and dressing Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning according to care plans Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities to enhance their well-being Assist with daily activities to help clients stay independent and in their own homes. Provide compassionate and personalized care to individuals in need Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry and tidying up living areas Provide companionship and engage in social activities with clients Monitor and report any changes in client's condition to the appropriate medical professionals Support clients with mobility and transfers to ensure their safety Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare team members regarding client progress and needs Document tasks and create care notes for each visit Follow all HIPAA guidelines to ensure client confidentiality Provide companionship and respite services for the familySkills:
Previous experience in home care, senior care, or long-term care is preferred. Knowledge of care plans and the ability to follow them accurately. Familiarity with dementia care practices is a plus. Strong cooking skills and experience in meal preparation for special dietary needs. Ability to perform basic health monitoring tasks such as taking vital signs. Excellent communication skills and a compassionate demeanor towards clients. Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
