POSITION SUMMARY
Job Overview We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in the Greater Sacramento area. As a Caregiver, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents by offering both physical and emotional support. Your responsibilities will include assisting with daily living activities, ensuring the safety and well-being of residents, and fostering a nurturing environment. Responsibilities Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation. Monitor and record vital signs as needed, ensuring accurate documentation of health status. Provide companionship and engage residents in social activities to promote emotional well-being. Uphold resident rights and maintain confidentiality in all interactions. Assist with mobility needs, including lifting and transferring residents safely. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to implement care plans tailored to individual needs. Maintain a clean and safe environment within the home or group setting. Support residents in participating in community activities as part of their home community care. Must have CDL and able to transport client. Qualifications Previous experience in patient care or as a caregiver is preferred but not required. Knowledge of resident rights and the ability to advocate for their needs. Familiarity with vital sign monitoring techniques is a plus. Ability to cook nutritious meals that cater to dietary restrictions. Strong interpersonal skills with a compassionate approach to caregiving. Willingness to learn about social work principles related to caregiving. Pay:
$18.00 per hour
