This vital role involves delivering personalized care that promotes independence, dignity, and quality of life for elderly individuals. The caregiver will work closely with residents, their families to ensure comprehensive, respectful, and attentive care tailored to each person's unique needs. If you are energetic, empathetic, and committed to making a positive difference in the lives of seniors, we want to hear from you! Duties Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment like Hoyer lifts when necessary Monitor patients' vital signs and observe for any changes in health or behavior, documenting findings accurately in compliance with HIPAA regulations Administer medications as prescribed and ensure proper medication management following care plans and safety protocols Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing routine cleaning tasks including laundry, room tidying, and sanitation of common areas Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, encouraging social interaction and mental stimulation Operate medical equipment such as Hoyer lifts or other assistive devices safely during patient transfers or mobility assistance a plus but will train Qualifications Must be able to pass background check Strong knowledge of patient observation, vital signs measurement, medication administration, and dementia/memory care techniques Certifications in CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), First Aid, HIPAA compliance training preferred Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when assisting residents with mobility needs Familiarity with care plans, patient monitoring tools, and documentation procedures in healthcare settings Compassionate attitude with excellent communication skills for engaging with seniors and their families effectively Join our team to provide heartfelt caregiving that truly makes a difference!
