This role involves providing personal care assistance, fostering positive communication with clients, and engaging in community activities. The ideal candidate will be committed to enhancing the quality of life for those they serve through attentive, respectful, and personalized care. Duties Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and preferences, ensuring a respectful and supportive environment. Support clients during after-school hours, including light housekeeping and preparing meals if needed. Participate in community activities and weekend outings to promote social engagement and recreational enjoyment. Provide companionship and emotional support to foster a positive and trusting relationship. Collaborate with family members and other caregivers to ensure consistent and comprehensive care. Experience Prior experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is highly preferred. Strong communication skills for client interaction and team coordination. Experience in personal care assistance or caregiving roles is advantageous. Ability to adapt to different needs and situations while maintaining patience and professionalism.
