As we continue to grow, we are seeking dedicated and reliable Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) to join our team. As a Personal Care Assistant (PCA), you will play a vital role in improving the lives of individuals who require assistance with daily activities due to age, illness, disability, or injury. You will work closely with clients in their homes or residential facilities, providing personalized care and support tailored to their unique needs. Your compassionate nature, strong interpersonal skills, and commitment to enhancing the quality of life for others will be key to succeeding in this role.

Responsibilities:

Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting. Provide support with mobility and transfers, ensuring safety and comfort. Assist with medication reminders and monitoring. Assist with meal preparation and feeding, considering dietary restrictions and preferences. Perform light housekeeping duties, such as tidying up living spaces, laundry, and light cleaning. Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful conversations and activities. Accompany clients to medical appointments, community outings, and social events. Observe and report any changes in clients' physical or mental conditions to the appropriate personnel. Maintain accurate documentation of services provided and client interactions.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred - Must be 18 years or older Prior experience as a Personal Care Assistant or similar role is preferred but not required. Empathy, patience, and compassion for individuals requiring personal care assistance. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision. Physical stamina and ability to lift or assist with transferring clients when necessary. Reliable transportation to travel to clients' homes or residential facilities. Must pass a background check.
