Job Description

Overview We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals in various settings, including private homes, group homes, assisted living facilities, and home community care. Your primary focus will be on enhancing the quality of life for those you care for by assisting with daily activities and ensuring their safety and well-being. Must be able to commit to the weekly
Schedule:
Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturday 10:00am-5:00pm Must have an active HCA and provide a negative TB test within 7 days of hire. Duties Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation. Implement and follow individualized care plans tailored to each client's needs. Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment. Perform heavy lifting as needed to assist clients with mobility or transfers. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations regarding client information. Administer first aid when necessary and respond appropriately to emergencies. Work effectively with individuals on the autism spectrum, understanding their unique needs and preferences. Collaborate with healthcare professionals, family members, and other caregivers to ensure comprehensive care. Experience Must be registered with CDSS, livescaned and have and have TB test Previous experience in caregiving or related fields such as nursing or working in group homes is preferred. Familiarity with care plans and the ability to implement them effectively. Basic cooking skills to prepare nutritious meals for clients. Certification in first aid is a plus but not required; training may be provided. A compassionate demeanor with a strong commitment to enhancing the lives of those in your care.
