Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and energetic Caregiver to join our dedicated team in providing high-quality, non-one-on-one support to residents in a vibrant care environment. As a Caregiver you will play a vital role in assisting residents with daily activities, ensuring their safety, and fostering a warm, supportive community atmosphere. All paid positions, are available for qualified applicants eager to make a positive impact. Responsibilities Support residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility assistance Assist with meal preparation and ensure proper nutrition and hydration for residents Monitor residents' vital signs and observe for any health changes or concerns Engage residents in social activities and group programs to promote mental stimulation and community involvement Maintain cleanliness and organization within common areas, ensuring a safe environment for all Follow safe patient lifting practices and manual handling procedures to prevent injury Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members regarding care needs and concerns Skills Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or residential care homes is highly preferred Knowledge of Alzheimer's care, dementia care, memory care, and behavioral management techniques Ability to assist with ADLs and perform medication administration accurately when required Familiarity with vital signs monitoring, first aid procedures, CPR certification, and safe patient lifting practices Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or cognitive impairments is advantageous Strong communication skills to foster positive client interactions and teamwork Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary while maintaining safety standards Join us in creating a caring community where every resident feels valued and supported.
