Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and experienced caregiver to provide care for an individual with moderate-stage ALS or other neurological conditions is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities include:
- Assisting with transfers
- Personal care, hygiene, activities of daily living (patient has not function of arms/hands but is able to walk with assistance)
- Medication reminder/ assistance
- Preparing flavorful, nutritious meals and assisting with feeding, while using good judgment to minimize aspiration risk
- Computer and phone skills are a requirement
- Providing companionship and engaging in meaningful conversation
- Occasional transport to local appointments only
- Light housekeeping
- Giving occasional attention to two very friendly, affectionate cats that are part of the household.
Pay:
$22.00- $25.
