Responsibilities Provide attentive supervision and care for children of various ages, including toddlers, preschoolers, and elementary school-age children. Plan and implement engaging activities that support childhood development, early education, and social interaction. Ensure safety by adhering to childhood development best practices, behavior management techniques, and mandated reporting laws. Assist with daily routines such as feeding, diapering, dressing, and nap times for infants and toddlers. Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding their child's progress, needs, and any concerns that arise. Maintain a clean, organized environment conducive to learning and play while following health and safety protocols. Apply first aid and CPR skills promptly in case of emergencies to ensure the well-being of children under your supervision. Experience Prior experience working with children across various settings such as daycare, preschool, babysitting, or nannying roles. Demonstrated knowledge of childhood development principles and behavior management strategies. Experience caring for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and elementary school-age children. Familiarity with activity planning tailored for young children that promotes learning through play. Knowledge of mandated reporting laws related to child safety and welfare. Certifications in first aid and CPR are highly preferred; ongoing training is encouraged to stay current.
