In-home support involves engaging with the individual using preferred activities, and behavioral support to build communication and coping skills. Position also involves providing supervision and support to the individual during community-based activities. Minimal behaviors with structure and consistency. Negotiable compensation depending on experience, qualifications, and role. Starting pay for little experience is $22 an hour.
Required Qualifications:
Some housekeeping, helping boys clean their room and do laundry. Meal preparation. Some computer work and note taking. Making appointments and transporting to appointments. Experience supporting individuals with autism, intellectual disability, and behavioral challenges. Ability to remain calm, patient, and neutral during stressful situations. First Aid/CPR (or willingness to obtain). Driver's license required. Ability to pass a background check. Must be 21+ and able to complete required trainings. QMAP required or willing to obtain. Part time, Monday and Tuesday from 10:30-5:30. More hours may be available if needed, but definitely need help Mondays and Tuesdays. You would need to pay for your backgrounds, QMAP, and CPR trainings (if needed) and I will reimburse you after 30 days of employment. (About $90 for backgrounds, $50 for CPR, and $120 for QMAP) Responsibilities Provide attentive supervision and companionship to teenage boys, ensuring their safety and emotional well-being at all times Assist with daily routines including meal preparation, personal hygiene, and recreational activities Support educational activities and homework assistance to foster academic growth Facilitate engaging activities that promote social skills, hobbies, and personal development Maintain household cleanliness through residential housekeeping tasks such as cleaning common areas and organizing personal spaces Offer transportation assistance for appointments, outings, or errands using private transportation methods Administer basic first aid and CPR when necessary, following safety protocols to handle emergencies effectively Join us if you're passionate about making a positive impact on young lives!
