Caregiver/Assistant Overview:

I need a good honest female who would like to help me with daily tasks including housekeeping, cooking with instruction, assisting with bathing, shopping, doing errands, special projects, attending appointments and activities, and helping me improve quality of life through some personal care and daily movement. Please be health conscious, intelligent, able-bodied and mentally stable yourself. You must be experienced with caregiving and be responsible and reliable. Three work references are required as well as a background check. I offer $25 an hour to start. A higher wage is in mind for the right person. You will be one of several helpers for around 10-15 hours per week on Friday afternoon into evening and/or all day Saturday plus being open to filling in on certain days as needed. We start at 9:00 or 10:00 am and end around 6:00 to 8:00 pm most days I am an employer through CDASS who finances my program with direct deposit twice a month. A one year commitment is desired which includes a flexible schedule to allow some personal time off and planned vacations. This is a low-stress environment that is a HOME, so each day can involve a variety of different tasks, yet we do have fun. I am a 60 year-old handicapped woman who utilizes a walker, power chair, and van accessible scooter. I appreciate your seriousness and effort during the application process.
