In this vital role, you will provide personalized support and assistance to individuals in private homes. This paid position offers a rewarding opportunity to build meaningful connections while delivering essential caregiving services. Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor patient health by observing vital signs and overall condition; report any concerns promptly Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with meal consumption as needed Support residents with medication reminders and help maintain accurate care plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks including cleaning and laundry Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being and social engagement Use specialized equipment such as Hoyer lifts or resident lifts to ensure safe transfers and mobility assistance Requirements Previous experience in home & community care, assisted living, nursing homes, or group homes is highly preferred Knowledge of patient observation techniques, dementia care, Alzheimer's care, memory care, autism support, and working with individuals with disabilities or developmental disabilities Certifications such as CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), First Aid, HIPAA compliance training, and knowledge of medication administration are advantageous Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physically demanding tasks when necessary Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients, families, and healthcare teams Demonstrated reliability, compassion, and a proactive approach to caregiving responsibilities Experience working with seniors or individuals requiring hospice or home health care is a plus Join us in providing exceptional non-medical support that truly transforms lives!
