Job Description

Are you passionate about providing in-home care and personal assistance services to Veterans, seniors, individuals with disabilities and those recovering from illness or surgery? Home Helpers of Grand Junction is seeking dedicated caregivers to join our team in the Grand Valley. As a caregiver with Home Helpers, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of those in need while working in a supportive and rewarding environment. Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and preferences Ensure safe transfers and mobility assistance Maintain detailed documentation of care provided, patient observations, and any incidents in compliance with privacy regulations Support clients with cognitive impairments such as Alzheimer's disease or dementia through memory care techniques and engagement activities Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe environment Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and follow personalized care plans Provide emotional support and companionship to promote mental well-being and social engagement.
Caregiver:
Prior experience in home health, assisted living, nursing homes, or group homes. First Aid Certification. Experience working with individuals with dementia enhances your effectiveness in this role Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients, families, and healthcare teams Compassionate attitude with a commitment to providing respectful, person-centered care Flexibility to work various shifts including morning, afternoon, evening or weekend shifts as needed. Pay:
$20.00 - $25.00 per hour

would be: Mornings Afternoon Evenings Weekdays Weekends Open to any shifts I understand that all positions start as part time and hours will depend on your availability as well as the client's needs.
