This as-needed position is ideal for someone seeking a flexible schedule while making a meaningful difference in the lives of older adults. PRN Care Providers help cover open shifts, planned time off, and other staffing needs, primarily during daytime hours. Our residents value their independence, and we are looking for caregivers who provide compassionate, person-centered support while promoting dignity, choice, and quality of life. With a maximum of 11 residents, our home offers the opportunity to build meaningful relationships and provide individualized care in a welcoming environment. Duties and responsibilities:
Fostering an independent living environment for aging adults through person-centered care On-going communication and care plan development with team members, administrator, residents, and family members Supporting residents with activities of daily living including: Medication administration Meal preparation and facilitation Perform and/or assist with personal care, such as bathing, shaving, dressing, eating Light cleaning and housekeeping as needed Creating and facilitating meaningful community and home-based activities Working alongside volunteers and external care providers to deliver services as needed Complete daily documentation on resident care Schedule Expectations PRN/as-needed position Primarily available to cover day shifts Ability to pick up weekday, weekend, and holiday shifts as needed No guaranteed minimum hours Qualifications Must be at least 18 years of age Flexible schedule including weekends and evenings Diverse experience across industries welcome Works in full compliance with all of Bross Street policies, procedures, and protocols Able to perform the physical demands of the position Perks of Working at
