We're a new, growing company built on decades of experience in Colorado's IDD system which means no layers of bureaucracy between you and the people making decisions, and real input into how we do things. This role is a fit whether you want to focus on meaningful direct support work long-term, or you're interested in growing into additional responsibilities, like administrative or program support, as we expand. We're small enough to have real conversations about which path fits you. As an Empowerment Professional, you'll provide individualized support that helps people with intellectual/developmental disabilities and other disabilities live more independent, connected lives; and you'll have a team that knows your name while you do it. We offer full-time and part-time schedules with real flexibility. Day, evening, and weekend shifts available, with a minimum of two weekend shifts per month required. Responsibilities Provide individualized support in home, community, and employment settings for people with IDD, mental health diagnoses, and other disabilities Support daily living skills and encourage independence and self-advocacy Design and help plan activities aligned with each person's goals and interests Facilitate community integration and meaningful engagement Implement behavior support strategies when applicable Build respectful, consistent relationships built on trust Complete documentation accurately and on time, and report safety concerns promptly Skills & Requirements Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to lift up to 30-50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English Must pass a criminal background check and MVR Relationship-driven, reliable, organized, and comfortable working independently Prior experience with individuals with developmental/intellectual disabilities preferred, not required CPR/First Aid and QMAP (medication administration) training provided and paid for as part of onboarding — no certification needed to apply

$21.00 - $24.00 per hour
