Summary As a Caregiver at FirstLight Home Care, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional in-home support to clients. Located in various communities across Southern Colorado, this position is essential for helping individuals maintain their independence and dignity in the comfort of their own homes. Responsibilities Provide compassionate care and assistance to clients in their homes. Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation. Monitor clients' health status and report any changes to the appropriate personnel. Support clients with mobility and physical activities as needed. Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' quality of life. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients. Document care provided and maintain accurate records. Requirements Previous experience in home care or caregiving preferred. Strong communication skills and ability to connect with clients on a personal level. Knowledge of patient monitoring techniques and basic health care practices. CPR certification is highly desirable. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or dementia is a plus.
