Job Overview Join our dedicated team as an In Home Caregiver and become a vital part of enhancing the quality of life for individuals in their own homes. You will work closely with clients to assist with daily activities, monitor health status, and create a warm, trusting environment that promotes dignity and comfort. Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor patients' health by taking vital signs and observing changes in condition Administer medications accurately following care plans and HIPAA regulations to ensure patient safety Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and assist with meal planning and cooking Support clients with memory care needs including Alzheimer's and dementia care through specialized techniques Use equipment such as Hoyer lifts or other assistive devices to safely transfer residents with mobility challenges Maintain detailed documentation of care provided, patient observations, and any incidents in compliance with healthcare standards Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe environment in accordance with infection control protocols Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop or update personalized care plans for each individual Provide emotional support and companionship to foster social engagement and reduce feelings of isolation Skills Proven experience in home & community care or assisted living environments; group home experience is a plus Knowledge of patient observation techniques and ability to recognize changes in health status Certification in First Aid and CPR required; additional certifications such as HIPAA training preferred Strong understanding of medication administration, vital signs monitoring, and patient safety protocols Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, or aging-related conditions like Alzheimer's or hospice care Ability to perform heavy lifting safely using equipment like Hoyer lifts when necessary Excellent communication skills for working effectively with clients, families, and healthcare teams Compassionate attitude combined with a proactive approach to caregiving responsibilities Join us in delivering exceptional home health services that prioritize dignity, independence, and quality of life. Pay:
$17.00 - $22.50 per hour
