This vital role empowers you to make a positive difference in the lives of individuals requiring assistance with daily activities and health management. As a compassionate and energetic caregiver, you will provide personalized support that promotes independence, safety, and well-being in the comfort of clients' homes. This position offers meaningful work with flexible scheduling options designed to fit your lifestyle while ensuring clients receive the highest quality care. Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor patients' vital signs and observe changes in health status to ensure safety and well-being Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary Administer medications accurately following care plans and maintain detailed documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations Use specialized equipment such as Hoyer lifts or transfer devices to safely move clients and prevent injury Support clients with cognitive challenges such as dementia or Alzheimer's through engaging activities and memory care techniques Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe living environment Follow established care plans meticulously while communicating any concerns or observations to supervising healthcare professionals Qualifications Prior experience in home care, assisted living, nursing home settings, or group homes is highly preferred Knowledge of patient observation, medication administration, and vital signs monitoring required Certifications such as CPR, First Aid, HIPAA compliance, and training in dementia or Alzheimer's care are advantageous Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physical tasks involved in patient transfer and mobility assistance Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism is a plus Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and healthcare teams Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to improve clients' quality of life Join us in providing exceptional home-based care that fosters independence and dignity!
