In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals with mental health disabilities, ensuring their well-being and enhancing their quality of life. You will work closely with residents to assist them in daily activities, promote independence, and foster a positive living environment. Your commitment to clean living spaces and effective behavior management will be crucial in helping residents thrive. Responsibilities Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal care and hygiene via prompting. Support individuals in achieving their personal goals and enhancing their independence. Ensure a safe and supportive environment. Medication monitoring. Maintain a clean and organized living space for residents, adhering to health and safety standards. Completion of tasks pertaining to each shift. Engage residents in recreational activities that promote socialization and skill development. Experience Previous experience working with individuals with mental health issues is preferred. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team. A compassionate approach towards assisting individuals in need of support.
