Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Direct Care Worker to provide non-medical, non-skilled support services to individuals in their homes or community settings. The Direct Care Worker assists clients with daily living activities to promote independence, dignity, and overall well-being. This position focuses on personal support, companionship, and household assistance and does not include medical or skilled nursing services. Requirements Previous caregiving or direct care experience preferred but not required Compassionate, patient, and reliable Ability to communicate effectively Ability to assist clients as needed Must pass background check Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (if transportation is required for the role) Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends or evenings if needed Responsibilities Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting Provide companionship and emotional support Assist with meal preparation and light housekeeping Accompany clients to appointments or community activities (if required) Perform light errands such as grocery shopping or picking up prescriptions Monitor and report any changes in client condition or behavior to supervisor Maintain a safe, clean, and respectful environment Follow care plans and company policies at all times Why Join Us?
