Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Female Caregiver to provide exceptional in-home care and support to clients with diverse needs. This vital role involves assisting with daily activities, ensuring safety, and promoting independence for individuals across various stages of life. The ideal candidate will bring energy, empathy, and a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for those they serve. Duties Provide personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as toileting, feeding, and medication reminders Monitor patient health by observing vital signs and reporting changes promptly Support patients with memory care needs, including dementia and Alzheimer's care strategies Operate Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems to document medical information accurately Administer medications following prescribed schedules and medical protocols Utilize patient transfer methods such as Hoyer lifts or other assistive devices safely and effectively Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations and home healthcare standards Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation to ensure a safe living environment Support clients during end-of-life or hospice care with compassion and professionalism Communicate effectively with clients, family members, and healthcare teams to coordinate care plans Experience Prior experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home healthcare agencies preferred Demonstrated experience caring for geriatric patients or individuals with disabilities or developmental disabilities Knowledge of medical terminology, catheter care, wound management, and basic life support (BLS) or CPR certification required Familiarity with home health regulations and documentation practices using EMR/EHR systems Experience providing dementia or memory care in a home or community setting highly desirable Proven ability to perform heavy lifting safely and operate patient transfer equipment such as Hoyer lifts Previous live-in employment experience is advantageous but not mandatory Strong communication skills for effective client interaction and team collaboration Join us to deliver compassionate care that truly makes a difference!
