Home Health Aide (HHA) Position Summary Opal Rose Home Care and Companion Services is seeking dependable, compassionate, and reliable Home Health Aides (HHAs) to provide non-medical, in-home support to clients throughout Pinellas County. We are actively seeking caregivers who are available to cover a client case in Clearwater (

33761) , along with other potential assignments within the service area. Candidates should be comfortable working in the field and traveling as needed. This role focuses on helping clients maintain independence, comfort, and safety in their own homes through personal care assistance, companionship, and daily living support.

Key Responsibilities Responsibilities may include:

Assisting with personal care such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene Supporting mobility, including walking assistance and transfers Preparing meals and assisting with feeding when needed Performing light housekeeping related to client care Providing medication reminders (no medication administration required) Accompanying clients to appointments, errands, or community outings Providing companionship and social engagement Observing and reporting changes in client condition Following care plans and safety practices Schedule & Shift Information PRN / as-needed scheduling 3 shifts per week 3 hours per shift Immediate need: coverage for a client case in Clearwater, FL 33761 Shifts may require use of personal vehicle for transportation or errands Qualifications Florida HHA certification or enrolled in a training program CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) Previous caregiving experience preferred Reliable transportation and valid driver's license (required for companion shifts) Strong communication and professionalism Ability to travel within Pinellas County What We Offer Flexible PRN scheduling Opportunity to transition into a W-2 position Supportive team environment Ongoing guidance and communication About Us Opal Rose Home Care and Companion Services provides reliable, non-medical in-home support focused on safety, dignity, and respect for clients and caregivers.
