Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking compassionate and dedicated caregivers to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need. As a caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for your clients, whether they are seniors, individuals with developmental disabilities, any one needing our care or those requiring hospice care. Your responsibilities will encompass a variety of tasks aimed at ensuring comfort, safety, and well-being. Duties Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation. Provide companionship and emotional support to clients to promote mental well-being. Support clients with mobility challenges, including heavy lifting when necessary. Help with Doctor's appointments, transportation to and from a Doctor's appointment. Perform patient observation to monitor changes in health status and report any concerns to healthcare professionals. Provide medications reminders as directed and assist with basic healthcare needs. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping duties. Help with recreational activities and activities of interest. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect client privacy and confidentiality. Engage clients in memory care activities to stimulate cognitive function. Collaborate with families and healthcare teams to develop personalized care plans. Skills Experience in senior care or home care settings is preferred. Knowledge of hospice care practices is beneficial. Ability to work effectively with individuals who have developmental disabilities. Strong observational skills for monitoring patient conditions and behaviors. Physical capability for heavy lifting and assisting clients with mobility needs. Familiarity with memory care techniques to support cognitive health. Compassionate demeanor with excellent interpersonal skills for building rapport with clients.
