Breathe Companion Services LLC is currently building a caregiver roster for upcoming client assignments. Qualified candidates who successfully complete the interview, reference verification, background screening, and onboarding process may be placed in our caregiver pool and contacted as client opportunities become available. Please carefully review the entire job posting before applying. Candidates selected for consideration will be expected to meet all minimum qualifications, successfully pass AHCA Level 2 Background Screening requirements, and comply with all agency policies and procedures. We are seeking compassionate, dependable, and professional caregivers to join our growing team. Caregivers provide non-medical companion and homemaker services to older adults and individuals requiring additional support within their homes and communities.POSITION SUMMARY
This position focuses on companionship, engagement activities, homemaker services, and caregiver support. We do not provide hands-on personal care, skilled nursing services, transportation, or medication administration. Assignment Expectations Each client is unique, and caregiver responsibilities may vary depending on the client's needs, preferences, authorized services, schedule, and individualized service plan. Not every assignment will include all duties listed in this job description. Caregivers may provide a combination of companionship, engagement activities, homemaker services, meal preparation, respite support, and community engagement assistance based on the client's authorized services and support needs. Assignment Information We strive to match caregivers with clients based on availability, experience, location, and client preferences whenever possible. As a growing agency, assignment opportunities and schedules may vary based on client needs. Our goal is to provide consistent caregiver-client relationships that promote trust, comfort, and quality care.FULL JOB DESCRIPTION & RESPONSIBILITIES
Companion Care & Engagement Activities Provide friendly companionship and conversation Encourage social interaction and meaningful engagement Participate in games, puzzles, reading, crafts, and recreational activities Support community participation and social inclusion Accompany clients to approved activities and appointments (escort support only) Homemaker Services Light housekeeping Laundry Making beds and changing linens Washing dishes Household organization Tidying living areas Taking out household trash Meal Preparation Prepare simple meals and snacks Follow client food preferences and dietary guidelines Medication Reminder Support Provide verbal medication reminders only Encourage clients to follow prescribed routines Respite Support Provide companionship and supervision while family caregivers attend personal responsibilitiesMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or GED Minimum of one (1) year of caregiving, companion care, homemaker, HHA, CNA, DSP, or related experience Ability to pass AHCA Level 2 Background Screening Reliable transportation to travel between client assignments Valid Florida Driver's License Professional, dependable, and compassionate demeanor Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently Authorization to work in the United States Preferred Qualifications HHA, CNA, DSP, or related caregiving experience Experience working with older adults or individuals with disabilities Bilingual (Spanish or Haitian Creole) preferred but not requiredWHAT WE OFFER
