CAREGIVER - HHA OR CNA
Multiple Locations Throughout Polk County One You Love Homecare Lakeland is hiring compassionate, dependable caregivers to provide one-on-one care and support to clients in their homes throughout Polk County.Pay:
$16.00-$20.00 per hourPosition:
Part-time Schedule:
Flexible; may include daytime, evening, overnight, and weekend assignmentsREQUIRED CREDENTIALS
Applicants must have all of the following:- A current Home Health Aide (HHA) certificate OR an active Florida Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license
- AHCA-compliant fingerprints/background screening with eligible status
- Current CPR certification Applicants must meet these credential requirements before being assigned to a client.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and other personal-care needs
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding when needed
- Provide medication reminders
- Assist with mobility and transfers according to the client's care plan
- Perform light housekeeping, laundry, shopping, and errands
- Provide transportation when assigned
- Observe and promptly report changes in a client's condition
- Complete required shift documentation accurately
- Follow client care plans, agency policies, and safety procedures
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous caregiving, senior-care, or home-care experience preferred
- Valid driver's license if operating company vehicle, access to reliable transportation, and current automobile insurance
- Dependable attendance and professional communication
- Compassionate, patient, respectful, and attentive
- Able to work independently in clients' homes
- Comfortable using a smartphone for scheduling and documentation
SERVICE AREA
Positions are available throughout Polk County, including Lakeland, Winter Haven, Bartow, Auburndale, Lake Alfred, Polk City, Lake Wales, Haines City, Mulberry, Frostproof, Fort Meade, and surrounding communities.
