In this vital role, you will provide personalized in-home assistance to individuals across various age groups and health conditions, promoting independence, safety, and well-being. Your proactive approach and empathetic attitude will foster trusting relationships and ensure clients receive the highest quality of care in the comfort of their homes. Duties Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote independence and dignity. Provide medication reminders and support adherence to prescribed treatment plans under supervision. Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and preferences. Perform light housekeeping tasks including laundry, cleaning, and organizing to maintain a safe and comfortable living environment. Offer companionship and emotional support to reduce feelings of loneliness or isolation. Monitor clients' health status, report changes or concerns promptly to healthcare professionals or family members. Support clients during outings or appointments, ensuring safety and comfort at all times. Qualifications Prior experience in home care, healthcare, or related fields is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Strong communication skills with the ability to listen attentively and respond empathetically. Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and effectively; experience with emergency medicine is a plus. Knowledge of basic medical procedures, medication management, and safety protocols. Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to improve clients' quality of life. Flexibility to work various shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed. Experience with diverse populations including geriatrics, post-acute care patients, or individuals requiring sub-acute care is advantageous.
