Personal Support/ Homemaker per diem(experience with children with autism ) CE HCA Melbourne, FL Job Details Part-time | Full-time | Contract $16.50 - $18.75 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Paid orientation Flexible schedule Referral program Qualifications CPR Certification Experience working with individuals with autism Assisting with ADLs High school diploma or GED Experience working with children Full Job Description As a caregiver with CE HCA, you will provide assistance and companionship to clients in their homes or school. Your role is vital in supporting daily living activities, promoting a safe and healthy environment, and enhancing the overall wellbeing of each client.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist clients with daily activities. Provide companionship and engage in meaningful conversation and activities Assist with planning and preparation according to dietary needs Perform light housekeeping duties such as laundry, dishwashing, and tidying up Accompany clients to appointments, errands, or light outings (if applicable) Monitor and report changes in client's physical or emotional condition to supervisor Maintain accurate records of care provided
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required Compassionate, reliable, and patient Fluent creole Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and follow plans Must pass background check Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (if required for position) CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
