Seasonal Waterfront Escape The Opportunity:

Spend your winters on the Banana River in Merritt Island, FL , and your summers on the shores of Madeline Island, WI . We are seeking an upbeat, energetic Caregiver/Personal Assistant to support a lovely woman with MS in two spectacular waterfront settings.

The Locations:

Winter (Mid-Oct - Mid-June): /. Private room/bath on the Banana River. Summer (Mid-June - Mid-Oct): . Located in the heart of the Apostle Islands on Lake Superior. The Role (Keep Busy & Stay Active): This is a proactive role for a "can-do" personality.

Duties include:

Direct Care:

Assistance with daily personal and self-care.

Household Support:

Light housekeeping and keeping our homes organized.

Meal Prep:

Preparing healthy meals (we love someone who enjoys the kitchen!).

Transportation:

Driving to appointments and outings in our wheelchair-modified Mercedes-Benz Sprinter van .

Position Details:

Full-Time Live-In:

4 shifts per week (with 3 days off).

Balanced Rotation:

We typically schedule 2 days on, 1 off, 2 on, 2 off (e.g., Work Sun/Mon, Off Tue, Work Wed/Thu, Off Fri/Sat). We are flexible and let staff work out rotations.

The Shift:

24-hour shifts with generous break times and generally uninterrupted sleep. Private room and adjacent bath provided.

Compensation:

$220 - $240 per 24-hour shift ($880 - $960 per week).

Requirements:

Happy, upbeat, and full of energy. Clean driving record (required to operate the Sprinter van). Comfortable with two cats . Strictly no smokers , please.
