Position Summary:
We are seeking an energetic and motivated Recruiter to grow our private duty home health team by sourcing, attracting, and hiring CNAs, HHAs, caregivers, and nurses. In this role, you will manage the recruitment cycle, build strong relationships with candidates, and collaborate with hiring managers to ensure staffing needs are met. The ideal candidate has experience in healthcare or home care recruiting, excellent communication skills, and a passion for connecting qualified caregivers and nurses with meaningful opportunities to provide exceptional in-home care.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the recruitment cycle for CNAs, HHAs, caregivers, and nurses, from sourcing and screening to extending offer letters. Build and maintain strong relationships with candidates to ensure a positive recruitment experience. Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop targeted recruitment strategies. Post job openings on relevant job boards, social media, and community outlets. Participate in job fairs, community events, and other outreach initiatives to attract qualified candidates. Maintain accurate and compliant recruitment records in applicant tracking systems. Stay informed about healthcare staffing trends and best practices to continuously improve recruitment processes. Work closely with the onboarding team to ensure smooth transition of candidates from offer acceptance to orientation.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in recruiting, preferably in healthcare, home care, or long-term care settings. Strong knowledge of sourcing strategies, candidate screening, and offer letter processes. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple requisitions across positions and locations. Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS), job boards, and social media recruiting tools. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Comfortable collaborating with hiring managers and the onboarding team. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation if attending job fairs or community events. This position requires Level 2 background screening through Florida's Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse.
